Episode #11: Passing With Compassion (featuring Carly Samish L.Ac.)
Show notes:
Hi Everyone! One of the best things in the world happens when you start a conversation, have a limited idea of where it might go, and voila, you find yourself on a magic carpet ride to places unknown.
This episode’s guest takes us on a refreshing ride exploring death and caring for those dying. She leaves us with wonderful and inspiring insights on this issue that has its tentacles on all of us. I came away feeling lighter, less anxiety, and more peace around death and dying! We all head this way, we might as well talk about it. And, we do with the help of Carly Samish L.Ac.
Carly, a native of Sacramento, California, made her way up the west coast to message school and acupuncture training in Portland, OR. And, lucky for us, she finally found her way to our office in Olympia, WA., to practice acupuncture as a part of our team. A talented and compassionate provider, she brings a wide range of tools and skill to treating pain, anxiety and stress, along with the gamut of other conditions. In addition to the work she performs at our office, Carly shares her clinical expertise with Hospice, caring for terminally ill patients. She is here to share a bit about this experience and more with us.
I’m doing the Cha Cha to welcome Carly Samish!
Post Show Notes: I loved talking with Carly about her work with Hospice and about death and dying! Carly’s insights offer a sense of peace around this unavoidable topic.
