Episode #9: A Detour To Purpose (featuring Mitch Erickson)

Show notes:

Our next guest inspires a conversation about what we do when life delivers a detour that takes us far from where we expect and we’re left to consider plan B? And while plan B can be painful, oftentimes it bears fruits of perspective, change, and opportunity that are neither better nor worse, but just different.

Mitch Erickson, owns and operates a group home for adults with special needs. My younger brother Joe T, who has Down syndrome, has been a member of his home for the past 15 years. You may recall, Joe T was the first guest of this podcast series. If not, go check out episode #1. Mitch  shares his journey of overcoming trauma as a young adult while finding a new way forward and discovering a satisfying life filled with meaning.

Let me welcome Mitch Erickson to “A Hat Tip For Hands.”

Post Show Notes: What a pleasure to host Mitch. He embodies love and kindness while embracing an unexpected path to peace and purpose. I’m grateful to Mitch for his consistent loving care of my brother, Joe T.
